Triangle Park
Triangle Park is a great place to stop and stretch while you are traveling. Located just two blocks from Main Street, it gives you the opportunity to check out the local businesses.
Northome City Playground
After many months of planning, new playground equipment was installed in late October 2023. Over 50 community members volunteered 500+ man hours to make this installation a reality for our community. Funding for this project came from individuals along with donations from many businesses and outside organizations. Community Economic Development Associates (CEDA) spearheaded the project from beginning to end.
We now have a playground that our community can be proud of for kids of all ages.
Memorial Arboretum
The Memorial Arboretum started as a vision from KIDS PLUS to celebrate the lives of community members and to promote healing from the tragic loss of members of our community. The KIDS PLUS Coalition received approval from the City of Northome in 2002 to designate the corner lot on Hwy 46 and Main Street as a memorial garden. With many volunteers and funding resources, the garden showcases our four seasons with plants and trees native to our region of Minnesota.
