There are many outdoor activities around the Northome area. There are many lakes around here where you can enjoy a relaxing day boating, fishing, ice fishing (in winter), tubing, water skiing, swimming, canoeing, and much more. There are many trails around here to go hiking on, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, horseback riding, skiing (in winter), and more. There is a big variety of wildlife around here such as bear, deer, wolves, coyotes, fox, and much much more.
